Sharron Roberts – M.A. Ed, LCMHCA, NCC Clinician
Sharron joined Nazareth in 2024 as a counselor working with child welfare involved youth and families. She possesses a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, both from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She has previous experience working with youth and adults at a community mental health center in Missouri, where she is also a Licensed Professional Counselor. In 2020 Sharron moved from Missouri to Salisbury with her spouse, son and 2 dogs. At that time, she began working for Benchmarks, a non-profit organization advocating for quality and accountability among human service providers in North Carolina. In this role she had the opportunity to work closely with county departments of social services, provider agencies, and health plans and decided to rejoin the clinical field to ensure child welfare involved children have access to quality assessments and services. While she is not working, Sharron enjoys spending time with her family and friends and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
