The behavioral health facilities of Nazareth Child & Family Connection are located in Salisbury and Lexington, North Carolina. Nazareth's clinics serve individuals with mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disability needs.

Our staff consists of licensed social workers, psychologists, professional counselors, and physicians working together to provide the best evidence-based services in the area. Nazareth provides psychological testing, marriage and family counseling, couples counseling, therapy for mental health disorders, addiction treatment, substance abuse intensive outpatient programs, and medication-assisted therapy utilizing suboxone.

Nazareth Child & Family Connection operates daily by appointment, though emergency walk-ins may be accommodated as needed. Hours of operation are flexible to assure that patients receive services at the times most often requested.

It is the goal of our practice to provide the best therapeutic atmosphere possible to facilitate progress and growth in order to meet patient needs. Agency professionals offer comprehensive, evidenced-based practices and regularly participate in continuing education to maintain a high standard of treatment competency. Many of our clinicians are rostered in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT) for trauma treatment as well as in Seven Challenges for teenage addiction treatment. Our therapists provide a wide range of outpatient services including individual, couples, family, and group therapies.

School-Based Therapy

Nazareth Child & Family Connection has an agreement with the Rowan-Salisbury and Davidson County School Systems for staff to provide therapy at the schools after an initial visit in our office. This is an effective means to ensure students get the necessary therapeutic care while minimizing time away from school. Strict confidentiality is maintained by our clinical staff, who will not talk to school personnel regarding your child without your written permission.

Suboxone Clinic

The Suboxone (buprenorphine) Clinic is available for individuals seeking a safe and proven treatment for opiate/opioid addiction. An alternative to methadone, Suboxone has a proven record as a tool for aiding addicted individuals in the initial stages of their recovery. The clinic uses a multimodal approach that brings outpatient therapies together with medication management, ensuring that both the physical and behavioral health of the individual is treated.

Outpatient Therapy

Clinicians employed by Nazareth Child & Family Connection include licensed psychiatrists, counselors, clinical social workers, and addiction specialists who work with all age groups and populations. Our goal is to match each patient’s needs with a therapist skilled in meeting those needs.
