Josh Barger Maintenance Supervisor

Mr. Barger was born and raised in Rockwell. Before joining Nazareth Mr. Barger attended ministry training school in Palmetto Florida from 2000-2004. He received active training and hands on experience in local and national outreach, international missions, school assemblies, and mentorship programs focused on trauma awareness and connecting clients with professional service providers. In 2004 he received a nationally accredited ministerial license through Global University. From 2003 to 2005 he served as an administrative staff for Church on the Rock of Palmetto Florida, coordinating multifaceted trainings, events, services, public speaking, and community outreach. From 2005 to 2007 he was employed by Church on the Rock as the young adult’s pastor and part-time maintenance technician as well as owning and operating Barger Remodeling Inc.

Mr. Barger Joined Nazareth in 2008 as a residential counselor in the transitional program for young men. During this time he was trained and certified as a Lead House-Parent through the trauma-informed Teaching-Family Association. In 2011 he helped the agency achieve full implementation of the Teaching-Family model and gain recognition as one of the 15 agencies in North America to receive the highest level of accreditation from the International Teaching-Family Association. From 2012 to 2017 he served the agency as a maintenance technician before becoming the current Maintenance Supervisor in 2018. He currently lives in Rockwell with his wife and four children.
