Chris Broadwater – MA, LCMHC-S Clinician
Chris Broadwater began working in the day treatment program at Nazareth Child and Family Connections in August of 2015. After a couple of years, she moved into the Outpatient Therapy offices and currently works out of the Lexington office. She also provides school based therapy in several Davidson County Schools. Chris enjoys working with adults and children and specializes in trauma, mood disorders and behavioral disorders. She provides services to individuals, couples and families. Chris also provides clinical supervision to new therapists, who are provisionally licensed, to assist them completing their hours to become fully licensed. Chris is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in North Carolina. She was first licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in West Virginia, in 1990 and has been a licensed therapist in NC since 1994. She received both Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from West Virginia University, graduating in 1989. Chris lives in Lexington, NC with her 2 dogs and is thrilled that she is able to be actively involved with her 2 adult children and their families, including 7 grandchildren.
