Camantha-Rea Lyerly- LCMHCA Clinician

Camantha-Rea Lyerly, LCMHCA, graduated from Catawba College in May 2024 with a Master of Health Sciences in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Camantha-Rea completed her undergraduate degree at Catawba College and graduated in May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. From May 2022 to March 2024, Camantha-Rea worked as a Registered Behavior Technician with children with Autism, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis to transform maladaptive behaviors into adaptive ones. In the counseling field, Camantha-Rea believes in the use of Person-Centered Counseling and Cognitive-Behavioral Counseling. She believes the most important part of counseling is the relationship built between the client and the counselor. When not in the office, Camantha-Rea can be found reading a book and spending time with friends and family. (Name pronunciation: Samantha-Rae)
