Andrea Bullock – MA, LCMHC Clinician

Andrea Bullock, MA, LCMHC received her Masters of Arts in counseling from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte in 1996. She has been a licensed clinical mental health counselor since November of 1998. She also holds a certification from the National Board for Certified Counselors since October of 1996. As a licensed clinical mental health counselor, she seeks to provide assessments and treatments for a variety of mental health issues for adults in our community. Areas of focus include depression, anxiety, domestic violence, and PTSD. Andrea strives to serve her clients with the best practices available and uses primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapies which have been well studied and proven effective. These therapies include but are not limited to cognitive processing therapy, relaxation techniques, exposure techniques, traumatic memory processing, teaching coping skills, behavior management, anger management, and communication strategies. She also obtained basic training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing and uses it in combination with other cognitive behavioral therapies.
