Residential Counselor

Nazareth Child and Family Connection is seeking individuals to work in a residential setting with male and female teens ages 12 to 21. 7 day on/7 day off live-in schedule. Must have a high school diploma and be at least 21 years of age. Some college preferred. Must have a working knowledge of word and excel and the ability to learn new programs with ease. Annual Salary $35,000+.

Intervention Specialist Part-Time Weekends

Nazareth Child & Family Connection is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to provide daily trauma informed care to teens in a residential setting. Seeking part-time, Saturdays and Sundays, 8 hours shifts, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. Can accommodate those who only want to work every second weekend.

  • Caring for the safety, security and welfare of residents.
  • Monitoring mental health and behavior and providing guidance to all residents.
  • Coordinating and overseeing all daily activities in the home
  • Ensuring residents are following all program rules and regulations.
  • Ensuring program follows all state license rules and regulations.
  • Assist residents in developing coping techniques
  • Provide daily transportation to appointments and after school activities
  • Assist in developing treatment planning goals and helping residents achieve their goals.
  • Complete daily documentation in a timely manner.
  • May need to physically restrain clients in the event of self-harm or harm to others.
  • Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma and a valid Driver's License. Some college and/or experience is preferred. Competitive salary and benefits. EOE.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Behavior Tech QP for Day Treatment Program

Behavior Tech QP for Day Treatment Program

NCFC is seeking a full time Behavior Tech QP to work in our Day Treatment Program. The Day Treatment Program serves elementary and middle school age clients in a classroom setting on our campus and in local schools.

Duties include:

  • Works with the team to develop an individualized Person Centered Plan.
  • Works with the team to implement the treatment plan and assist clients with the management of various behavior issues related to mental health symptoms and teach appropriate social skills in a classroom setting.
  • Continually observes and responds appropriately to clients during academic, recreational and leisure activities.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely manner in accordance with accreditation and MCO guidelines.
  • Must be able to complete a physical restraint when necessary.
  • May need to assist with transportation.
  • May be asked to work in another location at times to ensure appropriate classroom ratios.

Qualified Candidates must have a four year degree in human services field and two years experience with population served or a four year non-human services degree and four years of experience with the population served. Must have a valid NC Driver's License.

NCFC is currently offering a $500 signing bonus.

Awake Night Residential Counselor

Awake Night Residential Counselor

Nazareth Child & Family Connection is seeking an Awake Night Residential Counselor to work with male youths in a residential setting. We are seeking both part time and full time positions. The main duties include:

  • Ensuring all residents remain in the bedrooms throughout the night; completing bed checks periodically.
  • Responding to the needs of residents during the sleep time hours and addressing behaviors as needed.
  • Completing required paperwork.
  • Complete assigned cleaning/organizing/maintenance tasks as requested during shift.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Mental Health Therapist

Mental Health Therapist

Nazareth Child & Family Connection is seeking a full-time licensed mental health therapists for SA and MH outpatient services for children and adults.

Duties include:

  • Complete intake assessments and individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide diagnosis and treatment planning based on clinical experience and knowledge for both children and adults.
  • Complete all required records in a 24 hour period.
  • Participate in monthly supervision; individual and group.
  • Qualified candidates must have a masters degree and be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Must have a valid NC Driver's License.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Case Manager

Case Manager

Nazareth Child & Family Connection is seeking a Case Manager for a Level II Residential program serving children and teens who are in the custody of DSS due to abuse and/or neglect. The Case Manager work with the Direct Care staff to ensure each client receives the appropriate services and works towards individual goals. Duties include:

  • Screening potential clients for possible placement in the residential home.
  • Completing intake assessments and individualized treatment plans and PCPs to meet the client's needs and complete service authorization requests as applicable.
  • Facilitate monthly child and family team meetings.
  • Ensure each client receives proper medical and mental health screenings and treatment.
  • Work directly with DSS to ensure client's needs are met.
  • Transport clients to meetings and appointments.
  • Complete all paperwork according to state and accreditation standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to address serious issues during evenings and weekends.
  • Assist in planning and providing social and recreational activities for clients.

Qualified Candidates must have a four year human services degree and at least 2 years of experience working with the population served.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
