Residential Counselor

Nazareth Child and Family Connection is seeking individuals to work in a residential setting with male and female teens ages 12 to 21. 7 day on/7 day off live-in schedule. Must have a high school diploma and be at least 21 years of age. Some college preferred. Must have a working knowledge of word and excel and the ability to learn new programs with ease. Annual Salary $35,000+.

Intervention Specialist Part-Time Weekends

Nazareth Child & Family Connection is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to provide daily trauma informed care to teens in a residential setting. Seeking part-time, Saturdays and Sundays, 8 hours shifts, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. Can accommodate those who only want to work every second weekend.

• Caring for the safety, security and welfare of residents.
• Monitoring mental health and behavior and providing guidance to all residents.
• Coordinating and overseeing all daily activities in the home
• Ensuring residents are following all program rules and regulations.
• Ensuring program follows all state license rules and regulations.
• Assist residents in developing coping techniques
• Provide daily transportation to appointments and after school activities
• Assist in developing treatment planning goals and helping residents achieve their goals.
• Complete daily documentation in a timely manner.
• May need to physically restrain clients in the event of self-harm or harm to others.
• Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma and a valid Driver's License. Some college and/or experience is preferred. Competitive salary and benefits. EOE.

Behavior Tech QP for Day Treatment Program

NCFC is seeking a full time Behavior Tech QP to work in our Day Treatment Program. The Day Treatment Program serves elementary and middle school age clients in a classroom setting on our campus and in local schools.

Duties include:

• Works with the team to develop an individualized Person Centered Plan.
• Works with the team to implement the treatment plan and assist clients with the management of various behavior issues related to mental health symptoms and teach appropriate social skills in a classroom setting.
• Continually observes and responds appropriately to clients during academic, recreational and leisure activities.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner in accordance with accreditation and MCO guidelines.
• Must be able to complete a physical restraint when necessary.
• May need to assist with transportation.
• May be asked to work in another location at times to ensure appropriate classroom ratios.

Qualified Candidates must have a four year degree in human services field and two years experience with population served or a four year non-human services degree and four years of experience with the population served. Must have a valid NC Driver's License.

Training & Evaluation Specialist

Nazareth Child & Family Connection is seeking a Training and Evaluation Specialist. This position reports to the Director of Operations and is mainly responsible to train and ensure fidelity of the agency's trauma informed model and behavior modification model.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing initial and ongoing training to all employees in the agency's trauma informed model (Sanctuary) and behavior modification model (Pressley Ridge).
• Provide engaging and enriching activities to all employees to support the models in all areas of the agency.
• Assists direct care staff with developing and implementing psych-educational groups for clients and staff.
• Provide monthly communications and refresher trainings to all employees.
• Organize and facilitate internal committee to assist with ongoing fidelity of the models.
• Work with the Director of Operations to monitor and ensure fidelity of the models.
• Work as the liaison with the training institutes and ensure ongoing certification.
• Provide monthly check ins with all agency departments and programs.
• Facilitate training and community engagement as it relates to the models.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in human services with at least 5 years of experience providing training in the human services field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules and plan events.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff members and community.
• Must have working knowledge of microsoft and the ability to learn and use new software.

Awake Night Residential Counselor

Nazareth Child & Family Connection is seeking an Awake Night Residential Counselor to work with male youths in a residential setting. We are seeking both part time and full time positions. The main duties include:

• Ensuring all residents remain in the bedrooms throughout the night; completing bed checks periodically.
• Responding to the needs of residents during the sleep time hours and addressing behaviors as needed.
• Completing required paperwork.
• Complete assigned cleaning/organizing/maintenance tasks as requested during shift.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Mental Health Therapist

Nazareth Child & Family Connection is seeking a full-time licensed mental health therapists for SA and MH outpatient services for children and adults.

Duties include:

• Complete intake assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Provide diagnosis and treatment planning based on clinical experience and knowledge for both children and adults.
• Complete all required records in a 24 hour period.
• Participate in monthly supervision; individual and group.
• Qualified candidates must have a masters degree and be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Must have a valid NC Driver's License.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Licensed Psychologist

Nazareth Child & Family Connection is seeking a full-time licensed psychologist to complete psychological testing and provide individual and family counseling. The position will provide services in Salisbury, NC, and Lexington, NC. Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. and be fully licensed.
